Founded in 1985, the Texas Center for Policy Studies (TCPS) brings together the people and the information necessary to ensure that growth and development in our region enhances, rather than diminishes, the quality of life for all residents.

• New Report on Garbage Issues in Matamoros. Called Scavenging, Solid Waste and the Future of Trash Disposal In the City of Matamoros , the report looks at the issue of municipal solid waste in the Matamoros area and comes up with recommendations.
