government, industry and non-governmental organizations involved in border
environmental issues.

the monthly Borderlines.

over 3,200 "maquiladora" (foreign-owned assembly) plants located along the U.S./Mexico
border. The Maquiladora Health & Safety Support Network actively supports maquiladora workers in their
efforts to create safe workplace environments and ensure that maquila plants comply with Mexican labor laws.
