Border Water Project

Through partnerships with Mexican organizations and generous funding from the Hewlett Foundation, TCPS examined water management in the Rio Conchos basin, as well as the potential for restoring instream flows in segments of the rio Grande in Texas. Staff members leading this work--Mary Kelly and Karen Chapman--are now employed at Environmental Defense, where they continue to vigorously pursue these same projects. All reports and conference proceedings related to this work up until October 1, 2002, will remain posted on TCPS' website.
